The company is nearing completion of a major conversion in which we are modernizing to GE MAS MasterMind / MASweb software, the centerpiece of a half-million dollar, ongoing investment project. Additionally, our new management team has overseen the construction a new network server room, installed the latest Avaya IP office phone system and converted to XO Communications as our phone line carrier. We are also a full Dell computer center with the latest in Dell Technology. By riding the wave of these state-of-the-art upgrades, we can offer a number of innovative monitoring solutions, such as MASweb dealer access and streaming video verification. All of this technology investment is being done as we strive to meet our ongoing goal of providing our dealers and their customers with the most forward-looking, optimum monitoring service available. The new software is running on the most advanced Dell servers and workstations. The company utilizes dual firewall protection at 128K encryption security for our network. Our server room encompasses a wide array of receivers, including Ademco, DMP, ITI, Radionics, Silent Knight and Surgard System III, giving us the ability to accept all major industry communicating formats. One of the latest productivity tools Your Monitoring Center has added to its family of products is MASweb, which gives our dealers complete access to their account base via the Internet and protected password. The dealer can view account history, add, delete or modify an account, and generate a wide variety of reports (e.g., activity, open/close, service). This optional service is available for a moderately priced, one-time installation fee + flat monthly fee. Virtual Patrol(TM) Your Monitoring Center’s new video verification package is known as Virtual Patrol™, a digital video monitoring service that can be viewed via the Internet on a regular phone line or high-speed network, a PDA or Blackberry handheld. It is designed to be sold as a value-added service with a CCTV system installation, with the potential of being interactive.
